​1854 will be holding a Firearm Safety/Hunter Education (FASHE) certification training in partnership with the Bois Forte Boys and Girls Clubs, August 13-15, 2024. This event is open to the community. The program will run as a day-camp (between 9-4pm), and will take place between the Nett Lake and Vermilion reservations.

Requirements

Any Bois Forte or Grand Portage enrollees, aged 12 to 15 years old must have a valid firearms safety certificate while hunting big or small game in the 1854 Ceded Territory.
